Why auto play random video on launch?

HATE, HATE, HATE, that the new version of the app automatically starts a video in the lower right-hand corner of my iPhone screen.

Is Sony trying to monetize the app whenever users launch it?

… while wasting my paid bandwidth, too?

Deleted it from my device!!!!
