Cant open Crackle App with new Apple TV

Got the newer version of Apple TV the other day, downloaded the Crackle App, and it wouldnt load. Every other app works fine. Best Buy and web solutions say its because Crackle hasnt updated their software to work with newer Apple TVs. Whats the hold up, Crackle?
